Cambrionix Visits Buckingham Palace

Cambrionix Ltd was awarded with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the field of International Trade which recognises outstanding achievement for growth and success in international trade.  It is the most prestigious award for UK businesses.  All successful companies were invited to the Queen’s Reception in Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 14th July.  Cambrionix founders, Victoria and Steve attended to represent the company at this event.

Steve had the following to say about this impressive event:

“Our visit to the Palace was certainly special, the architecture and artwork is nothing short of stunning. On every wall there is artwork, on every floor an exquisite carpet. Victoria and myself were truly in awe and found it difficult to imagine just what it must be like to actually live there.

“Her Royal Highness, Prince Philip and many other members of the Royal Family were in attendance and were all very charming and genuinely interested in what we had to say. Unfortunately for myself, all I could string together when  I shook hands with our Queen was a muffled ‘Hi’, even though I had practiced my greeting a hundred times previous!

“Champagne and conversation flowed for around two hours as the Royals mingled with ourselves and fellow award winners.

“Personally, and as a company, we are extremely appreciative  of the award and it has given all our staff a great boost to be recognised for their achievements by our Royal Family. Its a team effort to win an award such as this and its unfortunate that our whole team could not attend although we do understand why.

“Now we had best start working towards the next Queens Award, there is room in my life for more Champagne and canapés!”
