Performance and Reliability...

Supports all USB2.0 compliant products and recognised legacy speeds, with a separate transaction translator for every port. Each port independently features Vbus current limit and low-ESR supply decoupling, complete with thermal protection and over-current shut-down. Multiple rail regulators and localised clock generators optimise noise immunity and jitter performance, and generously-large power planes ensure minimal supply voltage drop to all ports under maximum load conditions.

Space-Efficient Form-Factor... 

The vertical-loading style and footprint lends itself to space-efficient inclusion in bespoke fixtures, screened test enclosures or the laboratory bench, with a host of sturdy M4 mounting points affording flexible mounting options.

Remote Interface...

If mounting in equipment racks and enclosures, the mainboard features a remote interface connector convenienty providing control and monitoring possibilities from a separate panel. Includes Global Reset control, plus... 5V standby supply, "Power OK" confirmation, and soft-switched on/off power control, when using a standard ATX power supply.

ATX Power Supply  -  Although we designed our 49-port USB2.0 hub for compatibility with a wide range of commonly-available ATX power supplies, we can supply a pre-approved tested model for use with this product. Where some ATX power supplies require a variety of minimum loading conditions to be satisfied for trouble-free operation, an approved unit from us requires no additional load when used with our 49-port hub assembly. Not only do we have technical approval from the manufacturer for the intended application, our selection criteria included fan noise where used in quiet office environments, and unit ventilation if mounted in equipment racks and similar enclosures.

Protection Plates  -  Supplied in pairs and designed to mount above and/or below the board, with considerable improvements in mechanical and ESD protection where used in more exposed work areas. Furthermore, contrasting gold-on-black legends provide for easy port identification, with increased mechanical rigidity and fixing points for optional wall-mounting to conserve desk  space.

Extender Cables  -  We  offer attractively-priced cable packs, comprising 49 USB2.0 extension cables to your chosen length and one additional host-interface cable. Not only do they offer off-board connection alternatives, they may also serve as cost-effective sacrificial elements to alleviate wear on the PCB connectors for higher throughput applications.
