Graduate/junior FW/SW engineer
Being part of a hard working engineering team you will be required to have some experience in the following:

A good understanding of assembler, C and interrupt routines etc?

Understanding of how to write a realtime OS (cooperative and pre-emptive multitasking)?

Understanding of version control?
-
Device driver experience?
-
Understanding of software testing, for example regression testing, unit tests?

Ability to write small apps to run on Windows, Mac and Linux (Android and iOS a bonus!).

Some experience with microcontroller HW (PIC, ARM etc) and a basic electronics understanding.

Ability to use a scope, soldering iron etc to get new HW running if necessary!

The right candidate will enjoy working as part of a fast moving and hardworking team but will also have the confidence to work autonomously. You will be the ‘go-to’ person regarding firmware and software development projects.

Graduate/junior electronics engineer
The right candidate will be able to:

Demonstrate HW design ouside of the confines of industry ie. ‘Own time’ projects and hardware hacking.

Demonstrate an understanding of microcontroller programming in C or ASM.

Work in a small team as part of a fast growing company.

Be familiar with CAD for schematic and PCB design. Altium Designer experience would be preferable.

Able to test/verify your own projects using test equipment and ‘bring up’ code.

Is interested in learning new skills and happy to follow a project through idea to prototype, certification and, ultimately, for sale worldwide.

Confident to talk about new ideas and able to learn the skills required to bring them to fruition.
