Cambrionix announces compatibility with Apple M1 Silicon across full product range.
Cambrionix today announces full hardware and software compatibility with the Apple M1 Silicon across their full product range including their recently released Modular IT system, ModIT and their Thunderbolt 3 hubs.
Full compatibility ensures that their Enterprise customer deployments of Apple iOS devices, such as iPhone and iPad, run smoothly, efficiently, and ‘at-scale’ especially during the critical iOS device provisioning stages. Businesses who are considering, or currently deploying, Apple iOS devices within their organisation require management hardware and software to keep those devices charged, updated and managed via their chosen Mobile Device Management (MDM) software.
Cambrionix products fill the space between the Apple mobile device and the chosen MDM software allowing organisations to quickly and efficiently provision, charge and manage their mobile devices before, during and after deployment to staff. The recent announcement from Apple that many of their key products are moving towards using Apple-designed M1 Silicon has caused some mobile device management hardware vendors some compatibility problems. Cambrionix offers fully configurable hardware and software solutions which means that their engineering team were able to move fast to ensure that their hardware and software was ready for the wider release of M1 Silicon hardware and provided full compatibility, without exception.
This compatibility is offered by Cambrionix via a firmware release which customers can easily apply to their hardware using the Cambrionix LiveViewer application available for MacOS.
Cambrionix founder, Steven Tyson, said:
“Our core customer base uses Apple iOS and MacOS devices for deployments globally and ensuring Cambrionix products work flawlessly with Apple products is key to our success. We have released a new firmware version today which has some minor changes which although very subtle, ensure that the Apple M1 Silicon is 100% compatible with our hardware and software. Essentially this means that our Enterprise customers will be able to continue provisioning and deployment of Apple devices using their existing workflows, and MDM software, without modification. Our Engineering team have once again proven that our strategy of offering fully configurable hardware solutions offers a key benefit to our customers within a changing technology landscape.”
Cambrionix is offering the FW update today via its free LiveViewer app available on cambrionix.com. For additional information, or to sign-up for their newsletter, please contact Cambrionix directly.
